Ontario Superintendent Set To Retire, Could Be Rehired

Three months ago, back on March 10th, the Ontario School Board of Education approved the retirement of Superintendent Lisa Carmichael at the end of the current 2019-2020 school year.

The Ontario Board of Education recently declared its intent to rehire Carmichael for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.

RichlandSource.com reports, former school board members Sam VanCura and Tom Beck spoke in favor of rehiring Carmichael.

The Ontario school board is expected to vote on the matter at it's next board meeting in July.
