Mansfield Senior Starts Football Workouts

You may have noticed over the last week or so, area schools are being able to hold workouts.

Mansfield Senior held their first workouts this week at Arlin Field.

RichlandSource.com reports, head football coach Chioke Bradley said," We are taking these social distancing guidelines very seriously,”

Bradley went on to say.....“The athletic department and our coaching staff understand that this is bigger than football. Our first priority is keeping our kids safe and healthy.”

Senior High is coming off the great season in school history, with a run to Canton and the State title game.

Offensive coordinator Logan Slavinki said, “It’s good to be back and it’s good to see the guys. I haven’t seen them since March."

The high school football season is scheduled to kickoff on Aug 28th....but the go ahead has not been given yet by the state and OHSAA, due to the pandemic.
