Record heat for early June is in the forecast Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The Mansfield forecast is calling for the high to reach the lower 90's, which would be close to a record set back on June 9th of 1999.
The temperature reached 92 degrees 21 years ago.
Make sure to drink plenty of water and find a cool spot, with heat index values Tuesday expected to soar into the mid 90's.
