Mansfield 4th ward city councilman Alomar Davenport during this week's city council meeting, thanked Mansfield Police Chief Keith Porch and his department for their efforts in the Black Lives Matter protest downtown last Saturday.
RichlandSource.com reports, Davenport praised Chief Porch and his decision to use plainclothes officers at the event, which Davenport believes was the reason it went so well.
Davenport went on to say ...Thank you to the Mansfield PD for helping people be able to voice their concerns
in a peaceful and non-violent matter.
