Members of the Ashland County Fair, just like others around the state, are getting together to see how they can operate their county fair, during the pandemic.
RichlandSource.com reports, Steve Englet, who is the Ashland County Fair Board manager, said it's too early to tell for them, since the Ashland County Fair takes place in late September.
Englet said there are two options he believes, the first is trying to operate as close to normal as possible with social distancingto allow food vendors and other things.
The 2nd option would be an agricultural fair only, which would allow children in 4H and other programs to show animals and compete without crowds.
Englet said however, without crowds for revenue, they would have serious challenges. Englet said they hope to have a plan in place for the Ashland County Fair by mid July.
