There will be swimming in Shelby this summer, this after the Park board this week voted to open Seltzer park for the 2020 season.

RichlandSource.com reports, the move comes just one week after the board originally decided to not open the pool for the year, due to the pandemic.

However, that change when Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that pools can operate, starting on May 26th, if they follow local health guidelines.

No exact date has been given when the pool will open in Shelby, but it's expected sometime next month.
