Ashland School Board to reduce spring supplemental contracts by 50%

The Ashland City Schools Board of Education says due to the pandemic, it will reduce spring supplemental contracts for coaches in the district by 50%.

RichlandSource.com reports, Superintendent Dr. Doug Marrah says the move will allow the district to save $60,000, just a couple weeks after its state funding was reduce by nearly $612,000.

All members of the Ashland School board agreed and voted in favor of the resolution.
