Many cities around the state are looking into possibly making budget cuts due to the pandemic.
Ashland City finance director Larry Paxton is advising leaders in Ashland to take a "wait and see" approach.
RichlandSource.com reports, Ashland operates on a calendar year budget and Paxton said
Ashland has had a 15% decrease in income tax, however, it has had a pretty steady revenue from regular income tax withholdings.
Ashland mayor Matt Miller said all major employers in Ashland County were deemed essential during the Stay at home order, which closed down non essential businesses.
