Shelby Confirms 7th Case of COVID-19, Ashland County 6th

The city of Shelby has it's 7th positive test for the coronavirus. Mayor Steve Schag tells WMAN, the person is quarantined at home and will be monitored by the Shelby Health Department. There are 3 active cases of COVID-19 in Shelby, the 4 others have recovered from the virus.

Richland Couty now has 75 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, along with 3 probable.

The Ashland County Health Department (ACHD) is reporting the sixth positive lab result for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in an Ashland, Ohio resident.

The public health investigation is ongoing with ACHD conducting contact tracing. Individuals who were in close contact with the confirmed case will be notified and given further instructions. No additional information will be released to protect the privacy of this individual.
