Clear Fork high school seniors were honored Friday night with a parade.
RichlandSource.com reports, the unique celebration was held because proms, graduations and gatherings, can't be held due to the pandemic.
The idea came from Jenifer Howell, whose daughter Kaitlyn is a Senior at Clear Fork, and said it was heartbreaking to see these kids grow up and not get to experience their final senior memories.
Howell brought the idea to the mayor and police department and it took just a couple days to get organized.
The parade involved the police and fire departments, plus the high school scoreboard was lit up to honor the Clear Fork Class of 2020.
Clear Fork High School principal, Brian Brown said, he has been impressed with the way the seniors and community have responded to COVID-19.
