Mansfield business creates device to open doors without using your hands

A Mansfield business during COVID-19 has created a device to be able to open doors without using your hands

.

RichlandSource.com reports, Hess Industries, located on Sawyer Parkway, has created a plastic hands free door handle attachment, which can attach to any door and can prevent the further spread of germs.

Mark Hess said the device has been tested mainly in hospitals and the plastic device comes off and can even be cleaned in a dishwasher.

Hess has donated some to area hospitals and is looking to work with other area businesses to create a plastic mold and send them across the country and around the world.
