Ohio Adding More Workers To Unemployment Call Center

Application for benefits

Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted says the state is adding more workers to help with the backlog of unemployment claims.

He says due to coronavirus-related closures, more claims have been filed in the last month that were filed over the last two years.

Even though the staff at the call center has been bumped up to nearly 12-hundred workers, they're still looking to hire 337 more people.
