Clear Fork Student Wins 1st place in Regional Youth Film Festival

A Clear Fork student has won 1st place in the Regional International Youth Film Festival in Detroit.

18 year old Sam Brandes, who is the media officer for the Clear Fork High School Marching Band, won $1,000 for his 3 minute short silent film, which he filmed over a 3 day period that in Bellville.

The money will go toward college for Brandes, who has been accepted to the Ohio University School of Film.

Brandes will now compete in Portland's Silent Film Festival in June.
