The first Ohio inmate has died from COVID-19. Corrections officials say the prisoner was being held at the Pickaway Correctional Institution and was already suffering from a chronic illness.
A total of 67 inmates statewide have tested positive for coronavirus. The Ohio National Guard has been called in to assist the medical staff at the prison in Pickaway.
