I was born and raised in Mansfield Ohio and am a graduate of Lexington High School Class of 1974.
I began my career at AAA, at first doing trip ticks (travel by car) and hotel reservations, and then was transferred to the travel agency and learned from those on staff. I am a 1983 graduate of the Institute of Certified Travel Agents. My sister Laurie (Berger) Baker and I co-founded Berger Travel Agency, Inc. on November 1st, 1984.
In our early years, our business was a mix of corporate (business) travel, and leisure (vacation) travel. We have seen numerous changes in the travel industry over the years. Our business mix began to change as airlines eliminated commission on airline ticket sales coupled with advancing technology and loss of sales to the internet. We now specialize in adventure travel, cruises, escorted tour vacations, all inclusive beach destinations, and more. Berger Travel Agency, Inc. currently has a staff of 4 experienced sales agents counting Laurie & me. The collective total of our years of experience is over 140 years!
I married Barry Davis in 1999 and am a step-mom to 2 grown sons and their families. My passion is travel and am thankful for the opportunities I've had in 47 years to travel all over the world. In addition to travel, I enjoy snow skiing, hiking, camping, reading, and cooking. Barry & I regularly attend Berean Baptist Church.
