New Models Show Lower Coronavirus Peak Numbers In Ohio

Health Director Dr. Amy Acton today said Ohio's efforts at social distancing have drastically lowered the COVID-19 projections for the Buckeye State.

During Wednesday's update, Acton said previous models predicted ten-thousand new cases a day when the coronavirus hits it peak, but that number has plunged to 1,600

. Had Ohio taken no action, she says we could have seen numbers as high as 62,000 new cases per day.
