The city of Ontario has already cancelled it's 4th of July festival, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

RichlandSource.com reports, officials of the festival, say finances is one of the reasons, because they normally seek donations from area business to put on the fireworks display and that doesn't seem feasible with the economy and area business being hard hit from the coronavirus.

Roughly 20,000 people attend the Ontario 4th of July Fireworks each year, which was scheduled for June 26th this year. Also, officials say the health risks are too great.
