Mansfield Man Wanted In Connection With Stabbing, Turns Himself Into Police

A 55 year old Mansfield man has turned himself into Police, after he was wanted on a warrant for Felonious assault in connection with a stabbing incident.

Mansfield Police say they responded to a call just before midnight Monday, in reference to a female being stabbed on Altamont Avenue.

When authorities arrived, they found a 46 year old woman laying in the street suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was taken to the hospital.

Police say Ricky Porter, who turned himself into authorities Tuesday, originally fled the scene before cops arrived and was identified by witnesses as the attacker.
