Ohio State Researchers Say Ohio's Coronavirus Peak Could Be In Mid-April

Researchers with the Infectious Disease Institute at the Ohio State University say the state's coronavirus peak is still weeks away. Projections released yesterday from OSU epidemiologists show a peak of nearly ten-thousand cases around April 25th before beginning to taper off through the rest of May. Ohio Health Director Amy Acton said the experts at OSU had provided the most realistic scenario of what could happen if current social distancing protocols are continued. Another model from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation has the peak happening between April 20th and 23rd.
