Legislation was recently signed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to rename a bridge in Richland County in honor of the original settler of Plymouth, Abraham Trucks.
RichlandSource.com reports the bill directs ODOT to place a sign " The Trucks Bridge" along State Route 603. Trucks settled the land that is now Plymouth back in 1815. Senate President Larry Obhof applauded the work done by the village of Plymouth and State Representative Mark Romanchuk to preserve the local heritage for years to come.
