The Knox County Sheriff has arrested a man from Canal Winchester on charges of felony importuning and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The 51 year old man thought he was communicating online with an underage female, but it turned out to be a detective from the Knox County Sheriff's Office. The man was arrested in Mt. Vernon when he arrived for a arranged meeting. The incident remains under investigation.
