A public meeting was held this week about the proposal to change Diamond Street from one way to two way traffic. Mansfield engineer Bob Bianchi spoke for about 45 minutes and took some questions from those in attendance.
RichlandSource.com reports, one of the goals Bianchi talked about was improved access for occasional visitors to downtown to become frequent visitors, while also considering the thru traffic.
Council is expected to vote on the $360,000 proposal possible in late March or Early April. If approved, work would start in May and be finished sometime this summer.
