The Mansfield Police Department says there is an alarming trend of counterfeit money across the country, but also locally right here in Richland County. The Mansfield PD says they are working with the local Task Force to identify and arrest those responsible for passing the fake money locally. The counterfeit bills have a logo on them that says for "Motion Picture Use Only". If you have any information, contact the Mansfield PD Major Crimes Detectives.
