Ohio Workers Compensation to double safety grants over two years

Ohio's Bureau of Workers' Compensation will nearly double its Safety Grants appropriation over the next two years, pending a final vote February 10. Having already reached its original appropriation of $20 million, the program will see an increase of $15 million for both 2020 and 2021. Bureau Administrator and CEO Stephanie McCloud told Richland Source the funding increase points to the interest Ohio employers have in making workplaces safer and healthier.
