AN 89 YEAR OLD CRESTON WOMAN WAS KILLED FOLLOWING A TWO-VEHICLE FATAL CRASH ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON IN WAYNE COUNTY. ACCORDING TO THE OHIO STATE HIGHWAY PATROL, ELIZABETH GASSER, WHO WAS WEARING HER SEATBELT, FAILED TO STOP FOR A STOPSIGN AND HER CAR WAS STRUCK CAUSING IT TO SPIN AND END UP IN A YARD. GASSER DIED AT THE SCENE. THE DRIVER OF THE SECOND VEHICLE WAS CITED FOR NOT WEARING A SEATBELT AND WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL, THE CRASH REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
