The water meter replacement plan for the City of Mansfield has been pushed back a little due to some setbacks with the software. The issues should be resolved soon, which would see the new meter's start to be installed in March.
Last year, Council President Cliff Mears told WMAN , Mansfield pumps over 9 million gallons of water a day, but was only billing for just under 4 million . Mansfield is losing $100,000 in revenue per month with the old meter's.
