Mansfield Judge Hands Down Unusual Sentence

A Mansfield man, who last fall was charged with cruelty to animals, had a unique sentenced handed down to him by Judge Frank Ardis Jr. 49 year old Gerald Galloway had a choice to either spend a month in jail, a year of probation and cleaning out kennels at the Dog Shelter or spend three hours wearing a sign that said " I will never be cruel to animals. Galloway chose to wear the sign and walked up and down the sidewalk in front of the Municipal building for three hours on Thursday. He will also pay fine of $150.
