The Ashland County Commissioners are considering the possibility of adding a new cell inside of the Ashland County Jail, which would hold 5 inmates. RichlandSource.com reports that as of the middle of January, the Ashland County Jail had 129 inmates, it's capacity is 127. The Commissioners are in talks with an architect about the price of the possible addition.
