Ohio Electric Control’s facility in Ashland is expected invest $430,000 in a 5,500 square-foot-expansion this will add three new positions and $90,000 in payroll in the process. According to richlandsouce.com, Ashland City Council unanimously passed legislation this week in support of a ten year, 75 percent reduction in new real property tax resulting from the expansion. The expansion will involve the 5,500 square-foot addition to the south end of the current facility, machinery, equipment, furniture and fixtures, for a total investment of approximately $430,000.
