Historic Engine House In Shelby May Be Restored

Some possible good news for an historic engine house in Shelby, The Shelby Historical Preservation Commission gave a statement at a Shelby City Council meeting, on how they would like to preserve, maintain and restore the engine house. The building built in 1872 has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982. The commission wants to look into grants for repair of the building.
