Shook Construction Selected For Construction For New Lex School Building

Wednesday night the Lexington Board of Education selected Shook Construction as the manager for the construction of the district’s new middle and high school building. According to richlandsource.com, Shook was ultimately selected by a committee of school board members and school administrators, who received seven initial applications before the search was narrowed down to 4 finalists. After the middle and high school facility is built, a second one will be constructed to house students in grades pre-k through six. There will be a community meeting January 27th to update the public on ongoing facilities plans.
