Born and raised in DeGraff, Ohio. Graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor's in English Literature in 2004 and a Master's in English Literature in 2006. Graduated from Kent State University with a Master's in Library & Information Science in 2008. I fell in love with librarianship after starting out as a Circulation Assistant at the Logan County District Library in Bellefontaine, Ohio in 2001. I started at the Washington-Centerville Public Library as a Reference Librarian in 2008 and then as Head of Adult Services at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library in 2012. The Ontario Branch Library position was available at the end of 2013 and I was lucky enough to get the job. I became Director in July 2017 after short stints as Administrator of Branch Services and Deputy Director. My goal is to continue offering new services to the residents of Richland County. In my spare time, I spend time with my wife and ten month old daughter. I am an avid runner and am always looking for my next challenge.
