Page Excavating has finished tearing down the building that once was home to Pump House Ministries. The building that stood close to Downtown Ashland has been deteriorating for 20 years. Richlandsource.com is reporting that, The demolition began earlier this year with asbestos removal from inside the buildings, and the first bricks were knocked from the building August 18. The next step in the removal of the building is to remove the rebar sticking up out of the ground. Page Excavating will then crush and haul away the concrete. Then the intent is to bring in topsoil and grass seed planted before the winter weather.
