Among the nearly-1500 cases of vaping-related diseases under Center for Disease Control investigation across the United States are 32 in Ohio, with the state's north-central region facing cases of its own. Richland Public Health epidemiologist Emily Leedy told RichlandSource.com two Richland County residents have been hospitalized with vaping-related severe respiratory illness. No fatalities have been reported in any Ohio cases, while the epidemic has claimed 33 lives nationwide.
