The longtime Mount Vernon Nazarene University volleyball coach, has been charged with sexually victimizing an 88-year-old nursing home resident. Richlandsource.com is reporting that 67-year-old Paul Swanson, was indicted for gross sexual imposition, which is a fourth-degree felony. If Swanson is found guilty, he faces a potential sentence of six to 18 months in prison and a fine of up to $5,000. Swanson was allegedly seen committing the crime via a video feed from inside the victim’s room. The video was seen by employees of the Ohio Eastern Star Home, but was not recorded. According to a report Swanson knew the victim was impaired by a physical or mental condition.
