Shawn Grate Pleads Guilty To 5th Murder

Convicted serial killer Shawn Grate pleaded guilty to a 5th murder on Wednesday. Grate plead guilty to the murder of Dana Lowery in Marion County Common Pleas Court. In May of 2006 Lowery was selling magazines in Marion County. She sold magazines to Grate's mom but never supplied them. Grated lured her into his car and choked her to the point of unconsciousness and took her home and stabbed her in the neck. He then dumped her body off of Victory Road in Marion County.

Grate entered guilty pleas to charges of aggravated murder, kidnapping, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
