The Village of Fredericktown has been awarded a grant of $922,000 by ODOT as part of their Transportation Alternatives Program. Richlandsource.com is reporting that this ODOT program will fund projects that focus on bicycle facilities, infrastructure projects, community improvement activities, environmental mitigation, recreational trail program enhancement, and safe routes to school projects. The funding will revitalize the streetscape of the historical downtown area along North Main Street from Mill Street to Second Street beginning in July of 2022. The project will be ADA compliant.
