The Richland County Dog Shelter Now A Mandatory Spay And Neuter Facility

A press conference was held Tuesday at the Richland County Shelter to announced the shelter is now officially a mandatory spay and neuter facility. Richlandsource.com reports the Richland County Board of Commissioners, other elected officials and shelter volunteers made the announcement just before the mobile veterinary hospital arrived to perform its first procedures for the shelter. The cost to adopt a dog from the Richland County Dog Shelter is $199. This includes a dog license, a microchip, vaccinations, spay or neuter procedures and an adoption fee.
