Ashland Company Receiving Statewide Assistance In Creating Jobs

A company in Ashland will be receiving statewide assistance in creating jobs. According to richlandsource.com, Charles River Laboratories Ashland LLC expects to create 140 full-time positions, that will generate $5.6 million in new annual payroll and retaining $46.4 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in Ashland, Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced Monday the approval of assistance for the two projects is set to create 215 new jobs total and retain 929 jobs statewide. Charles River provides pre-clinical and clinical laboratory services for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology industries.
