Ontario City Council unanimously approved the purchase of almost 70 acres at their meeting Wednesday night. The property, located at 1779 West Fourth Street, was purchased from Mansfield Holdings LLC for $700,000. Law director Andrew Medwid told RichlandSource.com the site is the proposed location of the city's planned wastewater-treatment plant, pending the results of feasibility tests.
