Residents Pack Sullivan Township Trustees Meeting

Safety concerns were on the minds of residents that packed the community room of the Sullivan Volunteer Fire Department for a meeting of the Sullivan Township Trustees Monday evening. Richlandsource.com reports that many of the four dozen residents at the meeting expressed safety concerns and questioned the trustees' Aug. 5 decision to place six firefighters on leave pending an investigation. The trustees hired an attorney to investigate allegations of improper tapping of a fire hydrant, insubordination and derogatory comments made on social media.
