Former Air Force Veteran To Be Honored in Front of Courthouse

A former US Air Force Veteran will be honored Thursday, August 8th at 6 pm, in front of the Richland County Courthouse. An American flag will be raised in honor of Richard Roland, who spent over 35 years with the 179th Airlift Wing in Mansfield. Roland, who passed away last year at the age of 68, achieved numerous honors and held the position of Chief Master Sergeant at the 179th Airlift Wing.
