A home is considered a total loss after a fire Sunday night near Lexington. The Washington Township fire department responded to a home on St. Rt. 97 around 6:30 pm and were on scene for roughly 3 and a half hours. One person was home at the time of the fire, but not inside and escape without injury. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
