Col. Todd Thomas was recently named the new commander of the 179th Airlift Wing in Mansfield on Sunday during an official ceremony. Thomas takes over for Col. Allison Miller, who in February of 2018, became the first woman to lead an Ohio Air National Guard wing.
RichlandSource.com reports Thomas, who started with the 179 Airlift wing in 1989, becomes the 16th commander of the Ohio Air National Guard wing.
