Richland County Dogs Now Under A Mandatory Spay and Neuter Program

The Commissioners on Thursday approved Richland County to now be a mandatory spay and neuter county. Commissioner Tony Vero, who praised Dog Warden Dane Howard for his work, said adopting a dog would cost $200 and include vaccinations, dog license and micro chip. A mobile unit from the Columbus area will be coming to Mansfield every 6 weeks to the Dog Shelter for the mandatory spay and neuter program. The first visit will be on Aug. 27th.
