Ashland Woman Dies After Shooting Incident, Husband In Custody

A 33 year old woman died Monday in Ashland after a shooting incident on Mathews Ave. The woman's 40 year old husband is in the Ashland County jail in connection with the incident, according to RichlandSource.com.

Ashland Police said around 1:49 am residents said gun shots were heard and bullets were coming through the walls of the apartment. The man barricaded himself inside of the apartment before coming out unarmed and was taken into custody just before 4 am. No charges have been filed.
