Mansfield Police Investigating Thursday Shooting On E. 2nd Street

The Mansfield Division of Police is investigating a shooting that occurred earlier this morning in the 200 block of E. 2nd Street at approximately 0535 hours.

The 64 year old male victim, who is not being identified at this time, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Detectives are in the early stages of the investigation and working to identify a suspect(s) as well as a possible motive. Anyone with information about this shooting, is asked to call Det. Ron Packer at (419) 755-9729.
