Ohio Gov Signs Extension After Legislatures Unable To Reach Deal On Budget

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has signed a two week extension to avoid a shutdown after state Legislatures were unable to reach a deal on the state budget. This will give lawmakers an extra 17-days to work on reaching a new budget plan. It is the first time since 2009 the statehouse has failed to meet the legal deadline to have a budget in place.
