Ashland City Council Approves Purchase Of New Fire Truck

Ashland is getting a new fire truck, after city council approved the $613,000 purchase.

RichlandSource.com reports the Samaritan Hospital Foundation, who donated the land for Ashland to build its new fire station on, will pay for $300,000 of the new fire engine, which will arrive in about 9 months.

Construction of the new fire station expected to start next spring.
