Plan To Build Wind Turbines In Richland And Crawford Counties Cancelled

A plan to build more than 90 wind turbines in Richland and Crawford Counties has been cancelled.

RichlandSource.com reports Capitol Power, who is the owners of the Black Fork Project, said they are no longer pursuing the wind energy project and let the land owners know back in the spring. The company said the project would unlikely get proper funding.

Richland County Commissioner Tony Vero said the project not happening will have little impact on the county.
